It's the tautology, stupid.
David Brooks of the New York Times
nails the electability tautology that the Democrats are getting ready to hang themselves with in their race to nominate someone who will lead them to blessed ABB Land. ABB = Anybody But Bush. The person nominated, thinks Brooks, will be nominated by voters voting on the basis of who could win votes later on in the general election. The next couple of weeks are going to be interesting as Democratic voters decide who is the most electable not who the best candidate to be president is.
