Palestinian leaders want to bury Yassar Arafat at the Al Aqsa Mosque compound, Islam's third-holiest shrine, which was built on the ruins of the biblical Jewish temples.

In a very brief statement Israeli Justice Minister Yosef Lapid said Arafat

"will not be buried in Jerusalem because Jerusalem is the city where Jewish kings are buried and not Arab terrorists."

Since Mr Lapid was not smiling when he said that I think it is safe to say that Yassar will not be buried in Jerusalem in the near future. Maybe fellow Nobel Laureate Jimmy Carter has a place for him on his peanut farm or at the Carter Presidential Library.
